When life gives you lemons…
Brooke Lemon has always led the life she wanted, wild adventures – and mistakes – included, a fact that her perfect sister Mindy never understood. So when Mindy shows up on Brooke’s doorstep in the throes of a breakdown with her three little kids in tow, asking to switch lives with Brooke, she’s shocked.
Wanting to make amends, and find a way back to being sisters, Brooke agrees to trade places with Mindy for a few days so she can put herself back together…without admitting she’s just as broken. Her sister needs her though, so she takes the kids and returns to Wildstone. But how do you face home – and the man you left behind – after seven years away?
The Lemon sisters are about to learn you can’t outrun your demons – but if they can overcome their differences they might realise that the one person who can help them the most is the one they never thought to ask.

My Thoughts On The Lemon Sisters by Jill Shalvis
The Lemon Sisters by author Jill Shalvis starts with the character of Mindy showing up on her sister Brooke’s doorstep, in complete meltdown mode. So, Brooke takes the kids to give Mindy some respite, as a favour, in the pursuit of a much needed breakaway for Mindy. Unbeknown for Brooke, the breakaway befits both sisters. Well, not so much a break for Brooke, more a return home to face her past. She has her own demons to face with secrets held close. Conversely Mindy is facing her own battles and inner turmoils of motherhood, marriage and life.
This latest book in the Wildestone series by author Jill Shalvis is a read not to be missed. It’s a heartwarming story full of family challenges and relationship turmoil. A few twists and turns keep the pages moving, and Brooke and Mindy were a hoot to read,. Garrett and Linc add more emotion and hilarity right alongside Brooke and Mindy. Each of the character’s dialogue had this reader chuckling as the chapters flowed.
A top pick in reading that is undeniably unputdownable.

Child psychologist Taylor Woods needs a man. Flashy restaurateur Abel Honeychurch to be specific. Abe can help her get justice for her brother, Will. Taylor knows Abe, too, was scammed by the same woman who broke her brother’s heart and stole everything in his pockets.
But bringing a lying, cheating scammer to justice isn’t easy when all Abe wants to do is forget the whole sorry saga. He’s returned to his home town of Chalk Hill to lick his wounds and repay his debts, renovating his nanna’s house and opening the Chalk ‘n’ Cheese cafe.
He’s miserable. And it would be easier to stay miserable if everyone else around him wasn’t so darn cheerful. It’s wildflower season in Chalk Hill with a cafe full of upbeat bushwalkers, and it’s all Abe can do to remember to put sugar, not salt, in his customers’ cappuccinos. He definitely has no time for the mysterious red–headed guest who admires his cheesecake and adores his flat white.
Taylor’s mission to help her brother seems doomed – how will she gain the trust of a man whose every instinct tells him never to trust a woman again?
