The characters in Country At Heart by Mandy Magro face many feelings and reactions – treachery, mistrust, loss, war and love. While this book was a good read overall, some of the character actions or reactions at times didn’t correspond to the scenarios in the story and in turn has the reader perplexed in sections of the book.
The story is set in the small country town of Edens Edge Australia to war torn Afghanistan, Dean Lockwood and Summer Milton face many trials and tribulations throughout the story with both heartbreaking and delightful results that will have mixed reactions with readers.
